Vinchem brokers sucralfate deal
US marketing and sales agent Vinchem has arranged a deal through its European office for Bosnalijek to license the wound and burn treatment Skincol (sucralfate) 25% gel from Italy’s Lisapharma.
Bosnalijek – which will use the brand name ‘Golderm’ for the dermatological drug – now holds rights to the gel in its domestic market of Bosnia & Herzegovina, as well as in six other east and south-east European countries, including Russia and Ukraine, which account for about two-fifths of the company’s total exports (Generics bulletin, 14 December 2007, page 20).
The Sarajevo-based firm expects to secure a marketing authorisation in Bosnia & Herzegovina in the near future, to be followed by approvals in other markets next year.
